    Re: Nigella’s chocolate raspberry pudding cake

    Can it be frozen? Would be very grateful if you could give me this information. It would ease preparation for dinner parties.

      Hi Eileen

      I haven’t frozen it myself, but I would imagine that you could. I would leave it to get completely cold, and then wrap it in a layer (or two) of cling film, and a further layer of foil, to give it as much protection from the freezer as you can. Once wrapped, a tin wouldn’t hurt either. I realise that this seems like a lot of effort, but given the relative expense of making this, it’s probably for the best. Ensuring it is completely cold will help too, since it gets denser when cold and there’s less chance of ic crystals forming. Hope this is helpful, and let me know how you get on!
